TO DO: is a hilarious new comedy that tells the story of a young girl who did everything on her to do list except one thing...find love. She is ready to tie the knot but forgot to bring the groom. Watch as this darling clown navigates her way through the literal and figurative road blocks that would trip up even the most savvy of humans on a quest for true love.
Created and performed by Michelle Marie Trester, TO DO: made its world premiere at the Kansas City Fringe Festival in 2013! Full houses, and rave reviews made for one pretty wonderful premiere run! The show then went on to have its West coast premiere at the San Diego International Fringe Festival and its East coast premiere at the New York International Fringe Festival.
See what the press has had to say...
"Michelle’s clown work is phenomenal, making the audience feel like a part of the program in which, they are! No one is safe from the comedy in this one and that is definitely not a bad thing."
"...a very cute and enjoyable production, and worth seeing...Ms. Trester captures the craziness, the pathos, and even the sweetness of it all."
"Michelle (Marie) Trester was the one "must see"...She was cute, captivating, quirky, and irresistible."
“If you are looking for a good family program, put TO DO: on your To See: list.”
"So often we leave a theater changed or moved or deep in thought—but how often do we leave with all of those things but also with a giant, goofy smile on our faces, holding balloons and hot Cheetos?"
